Who am I?
My name is Zoë. I’ve studied Communication & Multimedia Design at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. To become a UX/UI designer. I’ve also studied Graphic Design at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam.
In 2023, I spent a year abroad in Los Angeles working at merch.com. This was a great experience where I learned to design custom apparel, bags, accessories, and branded items. I had never worked with different kinds of fabrics, patches, and everything needed to fully create custom items. It was awesome to see how everything is made and to discover the various options available.
In addition to my studies, in my spare time I love to shoot some photo’s of my friends, nature or animals.
As I have mentioned before: In a business I find it very important that there is a combination of fun and hard work. I’m definitely open for new challenges.
I really enjoy when my creativity can be used to help or create new things. Loyalty and respect for each other is my number one priority, especially when working in a team.
After I graduated from Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam as a Graphic designer. I chose to do another study. Therefore I chose Communication & Multimedia design. So I could learn more. One of those things was to learn programming. During this study I have used a lot of Design Thinking. That means: empathize, define, ideate, prototype and testing.

I learned to design custom apparel, bags, accessories, and branded items, creating production and vector files with detailed knowledge of product dielines and color separation. Additionally, I developed multifunctional digital branding assets for merch.com and their clients.
MONTLIUM MEDIA
At Montlium Media i’m gaining experience in video editing. I mostly edit Instagram reels and Youtube ads for the customers of Montlium Media.
DPG MEDIA
In addition to designing various graphics for newspapers and magazines, I am experienced in video editing; I make short videos for the socials of leukstetickets.nl and for the quarterly meetings.
DPG MEDIA INTERNSHIP
During my internship at DPG Media, I improved my designing skills extensively. Being the only designer, I’m used to having responsibility. I also did research on the USP’s of Reclamefolder and reasons why users choose to remove an app from their phone.

After a succesfull internship, Woov extended my term. Working for Woov helped me gain self-confidence and valuable working experience.

During my internship, I gained considerable knowledge about designing. My tasks included designing a map and timetable for the app, in addition to making videos for de company socials.
